Lord Jesus Christ, freeing the Israelites from Egyptian bondage, you protected them from the angel of death by the blood of the lamb (by. Wj 12). Now your own Blood protects us and helps during the tempter's attacks. That's why I thank you, that I can receive Your Precious Blood so often – not only during the Eucharist, but also – in a spiritual way – in other sacraments, through the word of God and through the mystical presence of this blood in every wound and in every suffering of redeemed humanity.
Now I am asking for special protection through Your Blood and for its saving power, not only for myself, but also for my relatives, friends and everyone, to which the anger and vengeance of the unclean spirits may be directed, provoked by my prayer. Trusting in your mercy, I immerse all these people and myself in Your Precious Blood, protecting us in your holy wounds.
I am asking for the purification of relations with all my ancestors and those still alive on this earth, with whom I am or have been in contact. Let it, what connects us, there will be only your saving Blood, shed on the Cross!
Take everything, which through sin and guilt became my hereditary burden. Cleanse the relationship between the living and the dead from all obstacles and sanctify them through Your Holy Spirit. Let Your Precious Blood also shine in our wounds as a sign of victory – as in your wounds on the day of the Resurrection. Amen.
