Divine Savior, Jesus Christ, who entrusted to the priests as Your deputies all the work of the Redemption, saving and sanctifying the world, I offer You all prayers through the hands of Your Most Holy Mother, joy, the sacrifices and sufferings of today for the sanctification of priests and candidates for the priesthood.
Give us truly holy priests, on fire of your divine love, who would only seek your greater honor and the salvation of our souls. Keep them from the dangers of soul and body, and in particular, protect them from doing so, which threatens their virtue and lowers their ideal of priestly holiness.
And you, Mary, good Mother of priests, protect them from the dangers that threaten their holy calling and bring these poor priests to the Good Shepherd too, who have strayed and become unfaithful to their duties. Amen
